The Zach Myers Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Zach Myers Memorial Scholarship Fund was organized to remember and honor the life of Zachary Alexander Myers. Zach was taken from this world too soon in a tragic car accident. He was a 16 year old high school student at Olathe Northwest and a Junior Fire Explorer with The City of Olathe, KS Fire Department. Zach's dedication to helping others is what inspired the formation of the Memorial Fund. He was a compassionate, honest and trusting young man who cared deeply for others. Zach planned his life to become a Firefighter. To unselfishly help others and gave back to the people who needed it the most. He signed up to become an Organ Donor when he received his driver's license and in death was able to help others. He touched more lives in his short 16 years here and earned the respect and admiration of his family, friends, teachers, coaches, and casual acquaintances. Through this fund, may his eternal flame live on to help others with similar vision and goals to become tomorrow's heroes.
